The savoring activity for me I would say was very satisfying. Usually when I eat I am extremely hungry to the point that I don’t even take the time to taste the food and enjoy it. This exercise allowed my taste buds to recognize the sweetness of the candy and savor it. I was more in control of myself as far as just indulging the piece of candy. I will say I was eager in the beginning of the exercise to just throw about 2 or 3 pieces in my mouth and act like I was listening to the audio. I didn’t though, I was so excited that I had controlled my urges to do the wrong thing.
